1. Purchase Agreement

2. Payment Terms

We utilize Stripe and PayPal for payment processing, analytics, and other business services. Stripe collects identifying information about devices connecting to its services and uses this information to operate and improve its services, including fraud detection. 3. Refund Policy

Refunds are processed by Stripe in the event of a dispute. Refunds may be considered only if you have not accessed the digital download files associated with your order (a log of this information is maintained and may be used as evidence with Stripe if you file a dispute).

In the case of an accidental double purchase of the same item, provided that the files have not been downloaded, we can issue a refund or offer store credit for the amount of the duplicated product purchase (to achieve this you will need to contact us via our ticket system (see 4.).

4. Support and Eligibility

Customer support is available via our Support page contact form. Our primary focus is to assist customers encountering technical difficulties with our products. Before providing support, we will verify that you legally own the product for which you are seeking assistance and that it is associated with your account. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for abusive, rude, defamatory behaviour, or entitlement. We reserve the right to close any support requests exhibiting such behaviour without prior notice. Additionally, if you violate our Terms and Conditions, we are not obliged to provide further support.  Please only contact support after visiting our frequently asked questions page on our website.  

5. Accuracy of Information

Despite our best efforts, information on this website may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or out-of-date. All specifications, products, descriptions, and prices of products on this website are subject to change at any time without notice. Southern Skinning reserves the right to provide product updates at its discretion when deemed necessary, such as addressing issues or ensuring compatibility with other software, including updated or altered versions of the same software, or systems. The development of updates will depend on available time and resources and will be delivered to customers as promptly as reasonably feasible. If a product undergoes a comprehensive overhaul (e.g., utilizing entirely new audio recordings), Southern Skinning may, at times, opt to launch the revised product as a separate offering. It is important to note that the decision to offer product overhaul updates as separate offerings may vary on a case-by-case basis and customers who purchased the original version of the product will not be automatically entitled to a complimentary upgrade to the revamped product.

8. Communication 

Southern Skinning will communicate with customers regarding future developments or product updates as necessary. However, customers cannot hold the company responsible or liable for any delays in communication. The speed of communication is contingent upon various factors, and Southern Skinning strives to provide timely updates when feasible.

9. Email Confidentiality

All emails and any attachments sent from Southern Skinning to the customer are strictly private and confidential, intended solely for the recipient to whom they are addressed. Unauthorized disclosure, copying, distribution, or any other use of the content of these emails is strictly prohibited and constitutes a violation of these terms. If you are not the intended recipient, please notify the sender immediately and delete the email and any attachments from your system.

10. Right to Refuse Sales

Southern Skinning reserves the right to refuse sales to any individual or entity at its sole discretion. This may include but is not limited to, situations where a customer has engaged in defamatory behavior or has caused harm to the business or the reputation of its owner. Such decisions will be made in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

11. Unauthorized Sharing and Consequences

Customers are strictly prohibited from sharing files purchased from this website or any associated download links with third parties. Unauthorized sharing or distribution of purchased files or download links is a violation of our Terms and Conditions and may result in legal action, as well as the refusal of sale at Southern Skinning sole discretion, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

12. Protection of Downloadable Files and Intellectual Property

The downloadable files available on this website are protected and locked to safeguard our intellectual property. These files are designed to be accessed and read by the compatible game only. Any attempt to open, access, or modify these locked files using unconventional means or methods is strictly prohibited and constitutes a violation of our Terms and Conditions.

We reserve the right to limit the quantity of products available for purchase or offered for sale at our sole discretion. Additionally, we may offer limited-time promotions or discounts on specific products without prior notice. Please note that product descriptions, images, and specifications on our website are subject to change at any time without notice.

   14.  Ownership Of Content

Everything we create is ours — straight and simple.

This includes:

• Models

• Sounds

• Visual assets

• Textures

• Previews

• Descriptions

• Branding

• Website content

• Updates

• Tools or code used to build parts of a mod

You don’t own any of this, and you don’t gain ownership by downloading or purchasing the mod. What you’re receiving is permission to use the mod, not the mod itself.

You’re granted the right to use the mod — but the mod itself remains our property.

This is the heart of how digital licensing works. The work stays ours, and we’re sharing it with you so you can enjoy it in ATS.

   15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions of Sale or your use of this website shall be resolved exclusively through the competent courts of England and Wales and you agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purpose of litigating all such disputes.

Southern Skinning reserves the right to modify, amend or update these Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time and without prior notice. Your continued use of this website following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions of Sale.

   17. Mods Provided “As-Is”

We thoroughly test our mods, but modding is a creative and dynamic field. We can’t predict every conflict, glitch, or unusual game setup. So you agree that:

• Mods are provided as-is

• Mods may have bugs

• Conflicts with other mods may happen

• Game updates may break functionality

• Fixes may not always be available

• Performance can vary depending on hardware and software

• Results may differ from player to player

We do our best, but we can’t promise perfection.

   19. Limitation of Liability

Southern Skinning is not responsible for:

• Game crashes

• Mod incompatibilities

• Data loss

• Performance issues

• Issues caused by other mods

• Problems resulting from ATS updates

• Hardware or software problems on your end

• Any damages beyond the amount you paid

If something breaks, we’ll try to help, but our liability is limited to the cost of the mod.

   18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions of Sale is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be deemed severed from these Terms and Conditions of Sale and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

   19. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions of Sale, together with any other legal notices, policies, or guidelines published on this website, constitute the entire agreement between you and Southern Skinning with respect to your use of this website and its products and services and supersede any prior agreements or understandings between you and Southern Skinning with respect to the subject matter hereof.
